All made to measure curtains are manufactured to the nearest half width.

All measurements for made to measure goods are manufactured in centimetres (CM) only.

All sizes and measurements stated by us in relation to the goods are approximate only.

Whilst we try to ensure the colours depicted on the image are accurate, many factors such as lighting, monitor resolution and image quality make it almost impossible to represent colour to 100% accuracy. Therefore, we are unable to guarantee that digitally produced images shown on the website:-

  • Accurately reflect the colours, due to variation in light and colour between computer monitors.

  • Are consistent from one item to another in the case of matching sets, due to slight variation in dye batches and length of time between orders placed.

  • Accurately reflect fabric texture and feel

  • It is recommended to order a sample before purchasing larger quantities or finished products.

If you require an exact colour match or would like to see any of the fabrics in person, we offer a fast-sampling service which is recommended to all customers when purchasing items online. Especially with made to measure and cut length items as they cannot be returned for a refund.

Tolerance

Our products are made to an extremely high standard in house by our skilled seamstresses. We will endeavour to produce products as accurate as possible within +/- 3cm variance. We cannot accept returns if the returned product is within this tolerance limit, you will therefore not be entitled to reject these goods.

Pattern repeat and fabric width are approximate measurements only, please allow this into your calculations.

Madeto measure goods

Any blinds or curtains ordered in sizes wider than the width of the material will be joined. The fabric and lining will be stitched together and made to your desired sizing. Sometimes the lining and face fabric can be different widths and therefore will be joined in different places, especially when pattern matching fabrics seams may occur in different places. If you choose large roman blinds or roman blinds made in heavy fabric, you may need to dress your window each time they are pulled up. When making our roman blinds to secure the fabric, lining and interlining we use ‘stab stitch’. This can occasionally cause light to shine through the material where it has been stitched. When the Roman blind is down occasionally you can see where the rods are positioned if the blind is not lined. Both curtains and Roman blinds are pattern matched from the top down.
